Once you have launched your website, its name cannot be changed. However many of us find ourselves in a situation where we purchased domain name(s), because we wanted to reserve them. We renewed the annual fee and so it is still ours. Then one day we decide that we are no longer interested in the niche and so we just stop paying when it comes up for renewal.
Wrong Move ! ! ! !
There are sites that are in the business of trading domains where you can buy, sell or park. The well known ones listed in Google are :
- Godaddy Auction.
- Flippa Marketplace.
- Sedo Marketplace.
- NamePros Forum.
- NameCheap Marketplace.
- Efty Website.
- eBay Marketplace.
- BrandBucket Website
For a small fee you can auction, buy, accept, reject or make a counter offer. They all have different rules, small costs to enlist, and commission rates.
The next question would be "How do I determine the value?"

I'd like to learn more as I have 2 domain names for sale.
I tried the sites you mentioned but struggled to find a valuation section in all but one of them.
Will send you a PM on the off chance you can help. If not - no problem.
Cheers
