Rule No. 1: Start by Creating a Micro-Niche
You can start with a specific micro-niche. Picking a niche is key to blogging success. You must target the right audience to get traffic. A broad niche is not a good idea as you will have many topics to cover. This will make it challenging to engage your audience.
A detailed explanation is required when discussing a particular micro-niche. This will give your audience something more than they can find online, drawing them to your articles.
Rule No. 2: Expand Your Niche!
Start with a micro-niche from the onset and attract an audience who is interested in the topic. This will generate some traffic for your website.
Once you have a large audience and are receiving good traffic to your site, it is time for you to expand.

5 Best Blog Ideas for 2021
I have pondered about starting to blog for a year now. But still, some elf in my mind whispers that I am just a novice in my past-time hobby; everybody else in that specific hobby niche has been doing things for a long time, and they have so much experience to share. Do you think people would be interested in a blog, as I am just on the road to mastering a specific hobby?
I am not even sure what my hobby is these days, nor do I have a firm grasp on what I like to do.
The main niches you propose here are evergreen niches and are wildly popular. I do like your suggestion to start with a micro-niche. Once we can make that work we can expand.
