Working on our website sometimes means that we want to delete some posts/pages. Those may have some quality comments which you want to keep. In other occasions, it can happen that you receive a comment completely irrelevant to the topic of the post, because the author has left a comment under the wrong article.

WordPress doesn’t leave much options to deal with this problem. There’s not much to do other than to delete them and not approve. Not very helpful in terms of user engagement.

But thanks to plugins, there’s any easy way to now move every content on your website. Once the business is done, you can safely keep the plugin deactivated until you need it again.

The plugin is called “Tako Movable Comments” and makes moving comments around a breeze.

In this training I’ll be walking you through the following steps:

  • How to install and activate a plugin
  • How to move comments between posts
  • How to deactivate the plugin while not in use

Let's get right into things.

So true. I was at that point and was desperate about not being able to move the comments. I was more than happy as I found this plugin and it solved my problem quick and painless.

Thanks Loes! :)
