- Double click the downloaded file and follow the installation prompts.
- Be sure to let the install create the directory in C:\. Some users report that the server doesn’t work properly when it’s not installed in the root of the C drive. (C:\ is considered the “root” of the C drive.
- Save shortcuts to desktop or system tray if desired.
- You can leave the default settings when prompted for the SMTP and Email settings.
- Installation is complete.
- Launch Wampserver.

angelle - just wanted to let you know that we have intsalled it on several different comps recently and have all had a 404 error pop up before you can access your admin. Its an easy fix though - just need to change the myphpadmin.conf file. Just erase line 17 and 18 and replace it with Allow from All and save
