1. Go to http://www.wampserver.com/en/ and download the latest version of the software that is appropriate for your system (64 bit vs 32bit).
  2. Save it to your desktop for easy access.



Note: If you aren’t sure if your system is 32 bit or 64 bit, here’s how you check on a Windows 7 system. It's somewhat similar in other Windows systems.

  1. Navigate to your Windows control panel from the start menu. Click the start button > control panel > system
  2. Look for the line that says “system type” under the system section to see what you've got.



That's it! Now let's get back to your server install.

angelle - just wanted to let you know that we have intsalled it on several different comps recently and have all had a 404 error pop up before you can access your admin. Its an easy fix though - just need to change the myphpadmin.conf file. Just erase line 17 and 18 and replace it with Allow from All and save
