Writing Effective Blogs

1. Apply keywords to your blog title, headers, and the URL.

All the tips I have shared in Step One above can also be applied to a blog, List posts, and some other types of content.

2. Split up a long blog post into multiple posts

This is very easy to calculate, the more blog post you create, the more the number of web pages of your site that will be ranked.

• You can set a limit for the number of words you have in each post; you can set a 1000+ or 2000+ words limit. Once you set a limit for yourself, make sure you adhere to it strictly. When you shorten the length of your post, this will make it very easy to read through. You should note that there is a lot of content out there trying to get the attention of your audience, so you should make it easier for the potential audience to read your content.

3. Paste excerpts to give previews of blog posts

It can be frustrating when you are going through a post and you have to scroll to the bottom of the page. When you are creating a new blog post, you can write the introduction and collapse the body of the content.

This will help your users understand the post better, and because of the good organization, they might read through the whole content.

4. Volunteer to write guest blog posts for other sites

A guest post that has a link to a company or personal site often looks attractive to the user.
