Sharing on Social Media
1. Don’t share every blog post or video
Users don’t like when a site is clustered with a lot of posts, ads, images, and link. Only share posts that you feel are necessary, this will help your user who is interested in getting more information to find one.
- Before you share anything on your site, make sure it will be of benefit to your brand.
2. Add share buttons to each page
The share button will allow your users to share some of the posts on your site to popular sites like Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and other sites.
- The location of the share button should be at the top and the bottom of your page.
3. Share fun content
All the products or services you will post about on your blog don’t have to be created by you; you can share some fun content that is related to your brand.
4. Share when most people are active
This point depends on the type of platform you use.
- Facebook receives high traffic between 11 am and 1 pm on Wednesdays
- Instagram gets high traffic on Wednesday by 11 am and 1 pm on Friday
- If you are using Twitter, you can work on Wednesday or Friday at 9 am.
