There are many factors that go into website rankings. Knowing how to improve SEO for your website is an important first step to getting good rankings. In this training I will explain why you have more impact with On-Page SEO than you do with Off-Page SEO.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ON-PAGE & OFF-PAGE SEO
A simple explanation into the differences of On-Page and Off-Page SEO are that you have control of the On-Page but not of the Off-Page. With On-Page SEO we are talking about the many aspects of content creation, HTML tags, and architectural crawl.
Let me simplify that a bit more. You already know what content creation is, or at least you should, but here is what I am talking about with HTML tags and architectural crawl. The HTML tags consist of your Title and Meta description tags as well as blog post tags and the architectural crawl has to do with linking and sitemaps.
However when it comes to Off-Page SEO, you have very little control over how that will turn out. This is mainly because it deals with links pointing to your website, the authority of those links, your social media reputation, and the location in the world that you live. Yes, that does make a difference.
