5. Create a Staff Board

Creating a staff board to reveal the faces behind a brand works great on Pinterest. This is because the platform provides an opportunity for emotional connections.

Some consumers may follow a brand if they personally know the business. In order to create a staff pin, the featured photos should be a clear headshot of the employee. This method can pull more traffic to your blog.

6. Make Your Blog Pinnable

As a Pinterest user, your blog should be pinnable. You might have probably seen buttons with Pinterest's logo on lots of blogs- it makes it possible for users to pin desired blog posts from a website.

This feature is awesome as it allows your website viewers to explore your blog post and save what they want to read in the future. It makes a post visible and accessible to a Pinterest user; this gives blog owners more traffic on both Pinterest and their blog.

Here is how to make your blog pinnable; click on the Widget Builder Section and choose the button that you want to include on your site, then type in your URL and paste the image file. You can now integrate it into your website's code.

7. Engage Your Followers

To maintain a lively and welcoming Pinterest account, you should interact with your followers to achieve more.

One of the common ways of doing this is to follow new followers back. You can briefly go through their pins and gather some information as part of your market research. This information will come handy when you are creating a targeted content later.

Another way to engage your followers is to repin posts that relate to your blog. Like, comment and repin such posts from your followers. Repinning can also be seen as reposting or retweeting something.

Finally, do ensure to follow industry leaders as well as influencers. This shows your interest, knowledge, and support for the industry. You can start building a community by repinning influencer's posts.
