Submit A Sitemap
If you are still running a small website, you don't need to submit/add a sitemap to Google. But if you already have a big site with hundreds of pages, adding a sitemap is a must for SEO.
Below are the steps to submitting a sitemap to Google, whether you're a pro or newbie blogger:
If you've installed the All-In-One SEO WordPress plugin, then you should have the XML sitemap settings under the "General Settings" tab.
If you haven't added a sitemap yet, then click on the "Feature Manager" link and activate XML Sitemap, Social Meta, Robots.txt and other important features.
Using this feature, your sitemap is submitted to Google, Yahoo/Bing and other major search engines.

Hi Israel, this is great info. I love the step by step guide, that covers everything. I haven't used Google Search Console as yet, I didn't know how, so this was very helpful. Thank you.

I've been in there but can't verify, then forgot about it.........
it also can't find my site, and it shows it has it, but if I do a search on that page everything I've written comes up..........
I've got nothing, and not much time to screw around with it today!
I you've got help, which I'm sure you do - I can only get so far with what you wrote - let me know!
Thanks much,
Laurel
