Set Your Target Location
Google tries all its best to figure out which location of the world your website is targeting. To go about this, the following data are considered:
- The address of your website
- The particular location from which you're getting most of your backlinks
- The location of your server
Google will figure out more about your location depending on how much information you're giving.
Now, it's time to set your target location within the Google Search Console.
Click the "Search traffic" button; then choose the "International Targeting" option.
The next step is choose the "Country" tab.
Now, mark the "Target users in" box.
Choose your target or preferred location from the drop-down menu.

Hi Israel, this is great info. I love the step by step guide, that covers everything. I haven't used Google Search Console as yet, I didn't know how, so this was very helpful. Thank you.

I've been in there but can't verify, then forgot about it.........
it also can't find my site, and it shows it has it, but if I do a search on that page everything I've written comes up..........
I've got nothing, and not much time to screw around with it today!
I you've got help, which I'm sure you do - I can only get so far with what you wrote - let me know!
Thanks much,
Laurel
