When you need to come up with content ideas but cannot quite decide on what to write, I normally look at what others have written on the subject. This is advantageous in two ways. 1 – It allows me to keep up to date on certain aspects of my niche and 2 – I can look to see what is popular and spin some content from it.
As is seen in the above image I have 4 of the 6 alerts I have set up with Google. Not all niches and topics you choose to receive alerts from will appear every day, if that is the setting you have selected. Only niches that are popular will most likely receive more published results being indexed into Google on a daily basis.
Based on the information provided from the links to the various alerts, I can read up on product reviews and other content of interest. Then I can either do further research to write a more informative post than the one I just read or I can come up with something totally different.
