Have you ever had a problem coming up with content for your website? Well I am going to share with you a very simple way to finding ideas for your content and for keeping up to date with what is going on in your niche.
USING GOOGLE ALERTS
As you probably are aware of by now, Google offers a lot of free tools to help us with the creation of our websites. There is a tool I use to both come up with content ideas and to stay informed about various articles on my niches.
In the above image you will see the Google Alerts home page, prior to actually signing up. What is Google Alerts? It is a free tool that will send you an email alert to let you know when a niche or topic you have selected, has new content being published and indexed into Google.
Obviously you will need a Google Gmail account to utilize this tool. If you have been following the training here at WA, you should already have this set up. In the image below I did a search for Affiliate Marketing. The screen will display the most recent search results on Google based on the keyword I typed in.
If I should want Google to send me blogs, articles and any other kind of published content pertaining to Affiliate Marketing, I would click on the blue Create Alert button. I could also set certain parameters for that alert to be displayed. I will discuss these settings in more detail on Page 4 of this tutorial.
