So ...

Upon activation, you'll notice a new "Widget Blocks" menu item in your admin sidebar.

And if you go to Widget Blocks => New Widget Block, you'll be taken to a fully featured visual editor where you can easily create your new custom widget ... Adding any element you want:

Basically, these widget blocks are considered custom post types, so when you are adding a new widget block, you'll be able to use the same visual editor you use to create posts and pages.

And that's all ... Once done, simply publish your new widget block.

OK. Now let's see the result ...

Thanks Zed very cool. I have found a few times when I wish I had another widget. I'm sure I will use this. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing this training.

Although I do have a question.
If I use this widget box on a side menu, can I build a post page
with my product links in this text? Or would the widget box make the links 'dead' links?

I have been trying to figure out a product page for two weeks now.
It's getting frustrating cause it's taking too much time.

I also want to build a landing page so I can start building a list.
I'm stuck.....
Any suggestions?

Have a Happy Day!

I don't understand your question Catherine ...

The sidebar widget and the "post page" are two different components. What are you trying to achieve here?

Landing page for list building? Again, it's a bit confusing ... You can create a landing page just like you would create any other page ... You just need to include the sign-up form of the given list building/autoresponder platform.

ok, Umm.
I will try to explain a bit better,
I want to create a page that would contain my products in a categorized manner. My website is in the Health and Wellness niche but I cover a variety of areas with my posts. Therefore I have products to do with three different categories. Instead of filling up my blog post or web content with affiliate links, I was considering a page to refer to any interested buyers, and it would have my featured products, as per category, as well as other products to buy.

My categories are Healthy Mind, Fitness, and Natural Healing.

Now for the list.
Does WA do the autoresponders through our platform or do I need to purchase an outside source for this?

Hope this helps you understand what I'm aiming for here.
If not, no worries, I won't quit till I figure it out. lol
Thank you for your time and patience today.

Keep smiling :)

OK. I understand the idea ... Yes, you can create a dedicated page with all those links, but I still don't understand what's the connection with this tutorial and the widget areas ...

No, WA doesn't have any autoresponder features. You'll have to sign up for an emailk service provider like Mailchimp or AWeber and they will give you an HTML code to insert the sign up form into your landing page.

Ok
This widget training got me thinking about how to go about this idea again. That's the relation to the video.
And I have been trying to learn more about the autoresponders but wasn't sure if that was provided here with WA.

That's all and thank you for the help today.

Have a Happy Day!
