Already have joined Amazon Associate US program. I live in Canada, do I have to sign up for Amazon Canada as well?
By all means, consider merchants other than Amazon! They have the shortest cookie period - 24 hours vs. 30 days for most other programs, plus the lowest commission rates in the industry. They also offer NO extra technologies like cross device tracking and there are over two dozen ways to get kicked out of their program. Please, please, please check out other possibilities.
Hi JeannineC
I am with 2 other affiliate programs but,
Amazon is the largest for choices of products to promote in my niche as well as any other niche I decide to go with,
I am new to this affiliate marketing so I am not really aware of much for other choices w/ large product availability.
I would definitely look into other options if you have any suggestions please share.
I appreciate your advice and no, I don't plan to put all my eggs in 1 basket.
Thanks again,
Have a Happy Day!
Catherine
I work for Awin.com, the largest affiliate network in the world. We have an entire division for Canadian affiliate programs, plus thousands of programs that will ship around the world.
Amazon doesn't have everything. I personally refuse to shop there.
What types of products are you looking for? There are other online department stores, like AliExpress.com, Bonanza.com, that have longer cookies and higher commission rates.

Thank you for raising this important question, Catherine.
I think even Amazon is not generous in their cookies' life and commissions it's not sensible to exclude one of the largest online retailers in the world from your list of affiliate networks.
All the best!
