For members who are new to WordPress this training will show you how to link out to another website.
Another way to explain this is to say – how to add an outside link to your website.
When writing posts for our websites we should be linking out to authority websites. But, that is another subject which won’t be discussed here. However, it proves the necessity of knowing the correct process of linking.
The subject of this post refers toWilliam Shakespeare and we will use the resource Wikipedia as an authority site.
- To get the correct URL for our link we log into Wikipedia.org
- In the search bar beneath the Globe within this image, we type in 'Shakespeare'
We now have the correct URL to create our outbound link.

Good afternoon Valerie,
As you know I have my Technical Manager who helps with these type of things, still, it is good that I also learn it slowly but surely.
I try to put relevant links in most of my posts, now more than when I started. When the time comes to pep up the posts from my beginning times here at WA, aside from writing better, and more, I think a little link here and there will do the trick.
