What are Page Titles and Meta descriptions?
Your Meta title and descriptions are unique codes that should appear on each page of your content. It has very similar chapter titles and short introductions in mini-courses. They give the title of the page and shed some light on the entire content of the page or article.
What are Page Titles
Page titles are stand-alone lines of text you will see in search engine results. They can be referred to as book titles when compared with books. While they appear as text containing text and numerical for humans, they appear as codes for search engine bots. Below is a simple format of HTML code.
<title> My Title Page </title>
One of the significant benefits of a well-optimized meta title is the increase in its probability of being clicked.
What are Meta Descriptions
You would have seen books come with short introductory notes for each chapter. It is very similar to your meta descriptions. They give a summary of the article's content and an insight into what you should expect after clicking on the link to the article.
Like meta titles, while they appear in text forms to human readers, they appear as codes to search engine bots. The HTML code usually looks like this:
<meta name = “description” content= “Meta descriptions are not just codes”>
Creating content without a meta description or a poorly written description may result in readers skipping your content due to a lack of introduction.
Every blogger must spend nothing less than 10 minutes to come up with great title.
Great training again.
Thanks for reminding us how important this is to blogging and getting people to read our content.
