2 - Test to Find Out What Works
Not too long ago, marketers were told that Orange was the best color for an ideal CTA. It's a bright and attractive color, which should get more conversions, right? Wrong!
The fact that it worked perfectly for someone doesn't mean it will also work for you. You've got to carry out tests with different colors to find out which colors resonate with your audience.
One more thing, if your brand color is orange, and you use an orange-colored CTA, your conversion will be affected.
And that's because the CTA button will get lost in all of the orange-colored images on your site.
3 - Make It Mobile Responsive
With more people accessing the net through mobile phones, you want your CTA to look good on these devices.
If your product or landing page isn't mobile responsive, a large chunk of your target market may be lost.
So you've got to ensure that your CTA pages are mobile responsive. And if they are not, you can get tools online to help with making it responsive to mobile.
Landing pages of today are all designed to be mobile responsive, but make sure to check before paying for any.
4 - Make It Urgent and Scarce
The fear of missing out (FOMO) is a powerful tool in the hands of any marketer. No one wants to miss out on a good deal, no matter how little the benefits may be.
And so including a sense of urgency and scarcity in your CTA will create that atmosphere. Let your audience know that they've got to act, and act right now.
By just adding "Now" to your CTA, you can achieve increased activity around your brand.
