Creating a WooCommerce Store
All you need to do is to install WooCommerce via the WordPress ‘plugins’ store. Just search for ‘WooCommerce’ under Plugins > Add New and select it. Click ‘Install Now’ and then ‘Activate’. You’ll then be taken through some steps I mentioned in the last segments, it will take 5 minutes or less. You can actually skip this to begin with though by just clicking ‘Not right now’.
I recommend that you do go through this process though since it is so quick - Therefore click ‘Continue’...
(1) On page one, you’ll be shown ‘Page Setup’. This is where you can add the four pages that your site needs in order to operate. These are: ‘Shop’, ‘Cart’, ‘Checkout’ and ‘My Account’. As you can see, each one is needed for the daily running of your site – but they operate just like any other page on WordPress. Click ‘Continue’ to install them.
(2) Next you will be asked to set up your store locale in order to choose your location. You can also select a store currency and set whether you want to use metric or imperial figures for showing the weight and dimensions of your packages.
(3) Note that if you want to, you can actually add a custom currency, though this may require a little technical knowhow.
(4) Note also that you’ll have the option to support multiple currencies later on via plugins. Select Continue and you’ll then need to set up shipping and tax.
(5) You can choose your domestic and international flat rate shipping but you might not need to do this if you’re going to be selling digital products.
(6) You can import tax rates, or just skip this for later. Select ‘Continue’ again...
(7) Choose your payment gateway. A handy thing here is that you can use PayPal, which simply requires you to enter your PayPal address.
(8) Finally, choose whether or not you want to let WooCommerce see your site diagnostic data. Once you’ve done that, you’ll then have the option to create your first product, or to access other resources.
If you don’t want to do that, return to the WordPress dashboard and you’ll find that it’s rather changed with new options like ‘Products’ and ‘WooCommerce’ in your menu. The WooCommerce menu lets you see your orders, coupons, ‘addons’ (plugins) etc. Under products you can change settings or add new inventory.

Once I have created a subdomain for eCommerce, will I advertise that subdomain or will I advertise the main domain?
Can I call the subd. shop.mydomainname.com or myproducts.mydomainname.com
Is there a special way to link them together? Or are they just naturally linked?
Thanks again

please explain, this "If you did choose to move to this theme, the store that is created will ‘replace’ the website you already have."
Does this mean that you loose your original theme you chose to start with to create your store?
If this is the case, it doesnt matter what initial theme to install WP would be, Right?
In this case what initial theme would be better?
Also, you write:
"You might want to use a subdomain or a separate secondary domain for your shop and create a separate website, then link the two together rather than install the entire theme on your current blog website".
Where can I learn how to do that?
Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to create this training, you did an amazing job.
I do have a question, maybe you can help. I already have a Paypal account that was previously setup for personal use. Can I use the same account or do I have to create a Business Paypal Account?
Does it cost anything to setup Paypal Business Account?
I am also not sure if I have to setup a Braintree account also?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks for all your help it's much appreciated. :)

Would it make sense using WooCommerce for selling Amazon stuff (as a start, for one site)? This means I would not need its all features, only some of them. Is there possibility to show updated price?
Product descriptions in such sites are usually short, so can one really rank with it? Earlier you replied to me by saying this was the usual SEO.
Are those pages or posts? If pages, there is a limit of pages in ordinary WP site menu (it is 80, know it for sure, I reached the limit once and could not continue, had to convert pages to posts). How is it with WC site?
Thank you in advance. Jovo
