Parts of Facebook Page
We must see the different part of the Facebook Business page. I believe it will help guide you when we start looking at creating a Facebook Business page.
Your Facebook Business page should contain the following
- Profile Picture and Cover Photo
- About
- Tabs
- Manage Tool Bar
- Call-to-Action
- Profile Picture and Cover Photo
Like most platforms, you will need a profile picture and a cover picture for your FaceBook business page. Most businesses use their logos or something unique and significant to their business for their profile picture. You can decide to use your team's group picture, the front end of your building or any related pictures for your profile.
All you need is to click on the picture, and you will be prompted with an edit icon to help you change it.
Concerning picture sizes, the Facebook cover picture should not be less than 820 by 312 pixels, and the profile pic should be at least 170 by 170.
2. About
The about section is where you have basic information about your business. Such information should include your business location, business hours, website, phone numbers, and other relevant information.
The about page is quite conspicuous. It has modifiable items, which are indicated with a pencil beside them. Other un-modifiable does not have a pencil indication.
3.Tabs
On your tab, you will see the home page, services, reviews and more. The more tab points to icons like video, offer, photos, community, jobs, and others. You can easily customize some of these options while others like review cannot be customized.
To customize any of these tabs, select the edit tab- it is the last on the role. You will see a list of tabs you can freely edit.
4. Manage Page ToolBar
The Manage Page section is on the left-hand side. It is one of the parts of your page. It houses tabs such as the Manage shop, Inbox, Business App Store, publishing tools, and lots more. It also wear-houses the tab to the ads section, where you can engage onFacebook advertising
Let us take a look at some of these tabs
a. Manage Shop:
If you run an eCommerce business of any form, you will find this section useful. You can take advantage of this section to showcase your products for your page visitors. The Manage shop tab is very friendly. You can send visitors to your website, your messenger or they remain on your FaceBook page.
I will not spend time here showing you how to work around it. It is simple. Click on the - Manage Shop, and follow the prompt to take advantage of this beautiful e-commerce alternative.
b. Business App Store
It is another feature that you can use to transform your business. It allows you to integrate with existing business tools, example is your scheduling tools. You can link them to your Facebook page from here.
c. Inbox
Your inbox is a business tool also. You can use this to receive and respond to messages on your Facebook page. Note that this does not in any way affect messages on your profile page.
Others are quite useful, take a look at them as you work on your Facebook Page.
