OK. Let's see the next important questions ...
Are there enough really good keywords?
As I told you earlier, your goal is to find a well-narrowed niche with at least 1,000 searches per month. Evidently, you’ll want to target a few main keywords that can help you to get the desired amount of monthly searches, but you can’t build an affiliate website using only one or two main keywords. You are going to need at least 25-30 other supporting keywords too.
Do you like this niche?
I admit, is not a literally vital issue … However, having some sort of interest will make it easier for you to create better content and to really understand your audience, which can be extremely helpful when you are trying to market your affiliate website. So, after all, I could say that is an important factor if you want to crack the “how to affiliate program” dilemma. I know, unfortunately, is not always possible to find something that you are passionate about that also happens to be a truly profitable opportunity. If the niche that you are passionate about is not really profitable, you will need to start looking outside your interests to find another lucrative niche. And who knows … you could actually start to enjoy it over time …
Conclusion
When you are trying to find profitable niches with low competition, always keep in mind that you are looking for a niche which:
- is evergreen
- has enough motivated and active buyers
- can be easily and efficiently penetrated with your preferred marketing methods
- can be associated with enough high-quality keywords
- it’s enjoyable as possible
Finally, one last advice on the whole “how to affiliate marketing program” topic … Many affiliate marketing experts will tell you that you should use the in-built reporting tools provided by some major affiliate networks in order to find a profitable niche. I have seen dozens of tutorials about “Finding profitable niches with Amazon’s Help”, “How to find a profitable ClickBank niche?”, “How to use ShareASale to find a profitable niche?”, etc. In my opinion these methods are delusive and unreliable, because each network or platform has a completely different evaluation system based on completely different weighting factors and ranking algorithms. Yes, these “internal stats” can help you to find the best-performing niches within a given affiliate network or to identify the best-selling products within a given niche, but they won’t help you to find the best platform-independent niche that really suits your needs. This is why I strongly recommend you to choose your niche using the above simple, two-step framework instead.
And forget the herd mentality … Why? Because ...
If everybody is doing it one way, there's a good chance you can find your niche by going exactly in the opposite direction.
And that's it my friends!
If you have any comments, further questions or update requests, please don't hesitate to react!
At the same time, I would believe, it is the initial part of finding a profitable niche that really make the difference if you will make or break it - the searching and a bit analyzing parts. Once you hit it 'bingo', you will be cruising to collect the big bucks.
Thank you for taking time to create this important tutorial.
Bookmarked.
