An even better way to see what page of the search results you are on is SERP Lab. This is particularly useful if you have lots of keywords you want to track over a long time, like months or years, because it can track up to 300 keywords every 24 hours.
To Create an Account:
- Go to https://www.serplab.co.uk
- Click the red “Sign up” button in the top right corner.
- Fill in your email and your password:
To Set Up a Project:
- Click “My Dashboard” in the top right.
- Click “+ New project”
- Enter the name of your project and the website URL:
- Click “Add keywords in bulk”
- Paste in a list of keywords:
- Click the "Add project" button (bottom right).
SERP lab will then go off and find where you rank for each of those keywords, and will refresh the results every 24 hours for up to 300 keywords. Pretty good for a free tool, right?
To Add New Keywords to an Existing Project:
- Log into SERP Lab.
- Click "My Dashboard".
- Scroll down and click on your project.
- Click "Add Keywords":
- Paste in your list of keywords.
- Click the "+ Add" button.

Hi Marcus! I used to use whatpageofsearchamion.com but it doesn't work for me anymore for some strange reason. I'll check the Serplab site. It sounds like a good method. Thanks for the tips! Alanna

Thanks, Marcus! I thought my first blog/article was no. 2 on Google last night and was really excited (and shocked) but I didn't realize that I had to check it in private mode.
