So, you have your website, you have found some good keywords, and you have written some great content for those keywords. But how do you know whether you are ranking high in the search engines for those keywords? You need to check.

Why? Because then you will know whether your strategy is working. If you are ranking high, it means Google trusts your site and thinks your content is high quality and relevant. If you are not ranking, that might mean you are doing something wrong. For example, maybe your are not writing content that is high enough quality. It could also just be that your website is still new and Google doesn't trust it yet. But either way, it's worth knowing where you rank.

However, you need to know the best way to check your rankings, and in this training, I will show you how.

  1. Checking Your Keywords Manually in Google.
  2. What Page of Search Am I On?
  3. SERP Lab - Free Bulk Keyword Tracking

Hi Marcus! I used to use whatpageofsearchamion.com but it doesn't work for me anymore for some strange reason. I'll check the Serplab site. It sounds like a good method. Thanks for the tips! Alanna

Ahh, yes, now you mention it, whatpageofsearchamion.com is having some trouble. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem?

It hasn't been working for me for the past few months. I thought it was a temporary glitch but I guess not.

Thanks, Marcus! I thought my first blog/article was no. 2 on Google last night and was really excited (and shocked) but I didn't realize that I had to check it in private mode.

I will follow this and see how I rank in Google. I have steadily moved up in Jaaxy, so it will be interesting to see how the two vompare.

Thanks for the goodies Marcus!

For those that were thinking about getting Jaaxy, it too has a function to check your keyword and Google page rank. It works great!

ROCK ON!
