One thing to note is that each color code contains the symbol "#" followed by 6 letters or numbers. This is known as the "hex" value of the color. All color patterns are made up of red, green and blue, otherwise known as RGB. So, with any combination of red, green and blue, you can make up any color you want. The first two letters or numbers are associated with the intensity of the red color with 00 being the lightest color of red and FF being the darkest color of red. The third and fourth letters or numbers represent the brightness of green and the fifth and sixth letters or numbers represent the brightness of blue. The example below lists a few different color codes.
