When they visit any page, people don't just read the content. They want to find out who is behind the content.
When I find a piece of content on the web, I like to know the author before I read it. It makes it easier for me to read the content, and makes me feel like it is worth my time.
If you post a photo of yourself on your blog, people can relate to it when they see your name or image on other sites, such as forums or guest posts.
Because there is nothing to hide, legitimate businesses often have a personality. Blogs with a personality are more trusted. Every blog I trust and follow has a photo of the author.
It doesn't matter how amazing your content is. Without an avatar, you are missing out on a lot.
Smile in your photos, it will connect with your readers immediately and make you seem trustworthy.
You can include your photos in the sidebar of your blog, in the About me widget, as well as within posts, opt-in pages, and other areas. Place a photo in your About Me section of your Website and add a photo of yourself to your WA profile. People want to be able to put a picture and your first name together, that is basic human nature.
