I hope I don't sound ignorant by asking this question. Is Thrive Suite a WordPress theme or an add-on? (plugin)

The Thrive Suite is a set of advanced plugins along with a theme builder. Have a look at the websites listed on my profile. They were all built with Thrive.

Please note that WA does not recommend Thrive, as they believe that it's too complex for the average member.

This is excellent, Phil! I know Mailchimp does not like AM sites. Since my site merely introduces and promotes the books that I write, along with various writing tips that I have discovered words for me, could I use this Auto responder first? You can PM me your thoughts when you have time.

MailChimp is fine. I still have a substantial list there from years ago. It's not very responsive so I don't transfer it to ActiveCampaign as it would increase my costs. It's said that MailChimp doesn't like emails with affiliate links, but neither do I. That's one of the reasons I use landing pages. Then the link in the email is to my own site.
