Give Your Knowledge Away Only for Something Worthwhile
To some people out there, giving away knowledge for free is ideal, whereas to others, doing so seems to be sort of stupid.
If you’re invited by an authority blogger to write a 5000-word blog post on a niche topic, you wouldn’t expect to do that for fun. It’s either you’re guest blogging for a high PR niche-related blog whereby you’ll get hundreds of thousands of traffic hits and links back to your blog or getting paid directly by the site owner.
Be Transparent and Authentic
If you’re known as a transparent and authentic blogger by your audience, they won’t hesitate to always open and click through whenever you publish a new post on your blog.
If you’re fond of telling story about your past failure/success in your blog posts and every other interesting thing about your blogging journey and experience, they’ll be more interested to keep following and reading your blog posts.
Conclusion
Having read the post about building your WordPress blog, make a decision today on the shape you want your blogging journey to take in the coming year. Plan for the coming year and practice how you would want your success to be in reality.
If you have any question on how you can improve your blog, or just need a hand with anything going forward in your business, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Your training/posts/blogs - call them what you want - are always engaging and interesting.
Your blog would have been better if you had explained how a person gives something away in exchange for what? Would you give something away the first time you write a blog? At what point do you consider giving something away? And what would you give them?
Just a few questions that someone new to WA might ask.
