The last thing I want to talk about is YOUR engagement into the Instagram community. If you want to be seen, you must show yourself so let's see what you have to do :
1. Comment/Like other posts
2. DM people
3. Do Shoutouts
4. Follow for follow
If you are active by posting AND you are active by commenting, liking and sending DM, you'll see that your account will grow even faster!
1. Comment/Like other posts
It's important that you show some interest for other people page by commenting and liking their content. But it is also important that you target people in your niche because otherwise they won't be interested to visit your page in return.
How can you find people in your niche?
USE HASHTAGS! In the ''Discover'' tab, you can make a research by hashtags, so try various hashtags that are relevant to your niche. It will bring you to many posts that use this hashtags. Choose the ''Recent'' ones and then you can like and comment these posts.
Comments have 2 parts :
1. The ''you have a nice post'' part
2. The ''come take a look at my page'' part
For example : ''Awesome post! (part one) You should come take a look at my page when you have a minute (part 2)''. Make sure you add emojis to your comment, it makes it more friendly and I admit I love better when I have comments with emojis.
Another way you can find people in your niche is through your influencers. Check posts from your incluencers and click on the people who have liked their posts. If they liked theirs, they probably will like yours too! So you can comment/like content from these people too.
Make sure to NOT comment/like too many at the same time otherwise Instagram could think you are a spam and ban you from any activity (it happened to me once with another account, it's not cool and actually I was never able to do anything else after). So what you can do if you really want to be active is comment/like approximately 15-20 persons per hour. Then you should be fine. Less then that it is ok.
2. DM people
Instead of commenting/liking content, you can DM people immediately with your product(s). Sometimes it can feel more ''spammy'' for the person you are sending a message but if you just send one short message, people should not find it too agressive. Again, you must be clear and concise, go right to the point.
You have the choice to put the link immediately or wait for an answer before doing so. I tried both and putting the link immediately has more impact because people are curious and sometimes they just want to see what you have to offer so they click immediately. If it interests them, they convert. This is what I got right now.
To find people in your niche, it is the same ways as explained at point 1.
Same thing than for point 1, DO NOT do it to often because you could get banned. I read on internet that Instagram allows 150 DMs per week. I didn't try more so if you want to, it's your choice.
3. Do Shoutouts
What are shoutouts? This is when you promote someone else page. Let me show you an example :
With who should you do shoutouts and why?
You should do shoutouts with people in the same niche as you and who have the same amount of followers as you (or close). It will give you the opportunity to be seen by your audience but new people, this is what you want. At the beginning shoutouts don't have a big impact because there are not many followers but when you become bigger, shoutouts start to be very interesting.
Usually, we do shoutout for shoutout so you do one for someone and this person will do one for you too.
Most of the time I do it through stories because it doesn't ''spam'' your posts and it is there only for 24h so it gets erase by itself.
4. Follow for follow
The last thing you can do is ask for a ''follow for follow''. I don't really recommend it because when you follow people and they follow you IN RETURN it doesn't mean that they are interested in your content. What you want is people interested in what you publish.
So you can do it to have more followers but if they are not active within your content... it's not really useful.

I'm absolutely blown away by how detailed you've made it:
- Regularly switching up the profile bio / link to avoid "visitors fatigue", that's something I did not know for example.
- Comment per hour limits, DMs per week limits: Also, I didn't know this, and this is VERY important to avoid being banned (and losing all the hard work).
- Hashtags: Just this info alone that you shared on #hashtags is extremely valuable! I like how in your strategy, you're using a healthy mix of competition. (Thanks for sharing the competition numbers, too, that's very helpful!)
Side note: I have made the same experience as you with hashtags, where simply adding more tags didn't increase visitors / likes / comments. So I agree with you that hashtags is really about finding the right ones, instead of using more ones. Your suggested mix looks like the best strategy to me!
