On our personal profiles there is a specified location on the right-hand sidebar where we can add a list of our websites. This is obviously an appropriate place to paste a link to our sites.

We are also lucky to have comment share posts within the WA Community where we can leave website links, thus allowing us to generate not only comments and feedback, but also traffic to our websites which in turn boosts our rankings on the Search Engines.

Here is a list of pages created by Kyle where we can post links to our webpages and posts:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa-affiliate-progr...

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/authoring-writing-...

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-affili...

For generalised feedback on your website, just click on the "Websites and Hosting" Tab on the left (under "Tools"). You will then be directed to the next page where you can earn credits for comments in a pay-it-forward manner.

Ideal for SEO right!? :)

I have notice a lot of members post a link to their site asking people to check it out

They're not supposed to do this in their blogs or welcome messages; they can leave links to their sites on the designated "Comment Share Posts" where permitted. Hope this helps!

Yes, we have site feedback under site rubix as well as some specific posts that Kyle set up for that. But you can give your link if another user asked for it, if my understanding of this post is correct haha.

That's right Forresth, if it's unsolicited then it does constitute spam. All it takes is someone to click the "Report" button.

As I've said, there are plenty of other opportunities to get feedback and comments... fortunately! Best.

I remember you having a discussion about this in chat the other day or yesterday, and this is a very timely training. I've seen new posts linking not to their websites, but their referral links to other affiliate marketing sites just like WA. I've received messages like so as well.

Hello Caisaki. Yes I remember! I think some people leave links to their WA blogs when welcoming new Premium Members. Since they are only promoting their WA content (and not their personal websites), this isn't an issue and doesn't constitute spam.

I know that advertising training is a no-no as well (as we earn small commissions for training such as this and this does amount to self-promotion).

Thanks for your contribution. :)

No I meant, they actually post external affiliate referral links asking people to sign up in those sites outside WA. And it was kind of disheartening seeing those being circulated within the community.

I see what you mean now. Wow I haven't encountered that, strange to see them being circulated within this community. I guess that would constitute unsolicited spam as well!

This is nice and succinct. I have seen quite a lot of people who welcome new members or premium members and suggest that they check out their website. I don't do it myself because I remembered reading that you shouldn't in the early days of my WA experience. But I could never remember where it was again. I just assumed that because a lot of people do it, that I must have misread it. I like your idea of sending people a link to the 'spam is a no-no' page. Thanks for your tutorial, Ange

Cheers Ange, appreciate you taking the time to read through and comment! Yes posting a link to our own websites just seems like the natural thing to do, especially for beginners, so I though I'd bring together and share a few insights. Best!

Yes, definitely good for us newbies. I may not look like a newbie on my profile, but I am. This is a good reminder of something people may forget in their zealousness to get stuck into the training. Ange
