How to avoid spamming at wa!
Essentially the aim of this is to boil down some of the ideas and misconceptions surrounding spamming within the community and to attempt to put this into a nutshell.
I noticed there have recently been many ideas and questions flying around which lead to all sorts of sub-threads of discussion.
Obviously we don't want people to be so overly cautions to the extent that they are afraid to leave links here on WA, so I will endeavour to clarify as much as possible.
First of all, there's no need to panic, as I say there are a lot worse things than spamming.
Having said that, it is important to adhere to the rules laid out by the creators. I have provided a link for you information if you are not yet familiar with this page:
As you can see, SPAM is defined as unsolicited links to our websites external to WA. There are specified places where we CAN paste links to our sites, so it's definitely not all doom and gloom! I'll get onto this in the following pages.
NOTE: Sharing links to other WA blogs and pages when communicating to others within the community is perfectly acceptable (you can do this by clicking on the affiliate link for that page, copying and pasting).
