What's the big deal? Referral traffic provides another stream of traffic. That's a BIG deal!

Just looking at my pie chart you can see that a big chunk of my traffic is from Social Media. Is that a big deal? Not at the moment apparently, but I want to to have as many sources of traffic as possible at this stage and do not want to count on Social Media to be my primary source of traffic.
