So ...
Basically, the plugin will insert a shortcode in your content using the information entered in the above lightbox.
In other words, you can create the same outcome using a shortcode which looks like this:
[tooltip content="This is the actual content of the tooltip"
url="Here you can insert an optional URL"]
This is the actual text that will
trigger the tooltip[/tooltip]
Finally, keep in mind that ...
- mobile visitors already work with a "compromised" view of your site, so usually, tooltips should be turned off for mobile devices
- the main goal is to declutter, so you should use them sparingly, otherwise you could frustrate your readers with all those constant disruptions
- tooltips need to add additional piece of helpful information; for example, it's pointless to use a tooltip in a form, just to repeat the name of a given field ...
- the golden rule: a tooltip message should be as brief as possible; classic tooltips and tours should only be a few words, and even a longer, more complex popover should be as short as possible
- also, try to keep images out of your tooltips; if you really ned to add some extra info, it's always better to include a link to a page that includes all of the pertinent information
And that's it my friends!

Steve.
Thank you for the Short Code that you've added, now THAT is a useful piece of information, thank you!
Is there something that can be added to the short code in order to turn it off on mobile?
You are such a star - thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
