If you have more than one website then it is a great idea to add more than one tracking code to your Amazon affiliate account so that you can keep track of where your sales and clicks are coming in from.

You can even set up different tracking codes for one website if you are wanting to track sales on specific posts.

Thank you for sharing how to add images to posts! I've been wondering how to do that! Last week I did not get credit for two sales. Do you think Pretty Links had something to do with that? I always use the link checker to see if the links are good before placing them in my website. I can't afford to miss sales. Thoughts??

Kristen remove pretty links for Amazon - you must not link cloak or use a link shortener for Amazon or you put your account at risk - that may be why you never got credited. How do you even know that you made sales? Did you buy through your own link? Never ever buy through your own link because that will also put your account at risk. make sure to read the Amazon associates agreement and check it every time they update it to make sure you are following their terms.

No, I didn't buy through my link! I received a message through my Facebook account from a person who visited my site and said she made a purchase. I checked a few days later and saw that there were many clicks but no orders.

Ok did you know the only place you can add Amazon links is to your website? You cannot share it on social media or even via email?

Also it depends on what she bought I know that there are some things that are not eligible for payment, I am not sure which items this relates to but I have seen message under my payment reporting.

Thank you Lynne for this training.

How should I install the Amazon code to my website?
Reply

You don't install the code as such to your website - your code is added to your links and banners - check the links to the training listed below the video :)

There is something here that I do not understand. The HTML That is given to me by Amazon I do not know if I am placing it at the right place. I notice Kyle highlighting Amazon, com for his site How do I get that from the HTML?

Previously. the link would come clean on the page (n0t Amaz0n) it is different noe. It comes inside of a lot of broken red line

Question Lynne

Hi Rolland :) I used the free version up until about a month ago when I needed to record a video longer than 15 minutes long which is the longest you can do with the free version. I used the free version for about 2 years without needing to upgrade.
