There are many ways to add Amazon link and ads to your Wordpress posts and pages. This video will walk you through a few of them, my personal favorite being the custom Amazon Native Ads which is what I mostly make use of on my websites.

Your training is excellent!
I am in awe. How long did it take you to learn all of this stuff and build your website? I was selling on amazon before this and am just about to add a new product there but I am finding this learning curve way steeper. I was wondering about page posts. I have about 7 now and only 2 have been indexed. Does that mean that I should go over them again and tweak the keywords?
Thanks again so much Lynne. I really appreciate the help.

I launched that website in 2012 but as an online baby store :) I had a huge learning curve too. I stumbled across WA in June 2015 because I was still struggling to figure out how to work my website properly. From the moment I found WA everything fell into place and I just sucked up the content. I would watch training videos till 3am every night LOL. By February 2016 I realized I didn't need any products or any of the hassle and expense that went with that so I just shut my store and went for it to blog full time. Best move I ever made!

Your website is still quite new then? I would not go back now and change anything with your posts. I would keep learning and keep adding new content. Implement your new skills on the new posts you publish. Yes at some stage come back and edit your old posts but wait until you have a decent amount of content on your website - at this stage it is more important to keep up with publishing.

Have you set up Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools yet? You need to submit a site map to Google through Webmaster Tools as well as submit your new content to Google. This will help Google to index your content quicker.

I was actually wanting to publish training on those exact topics next.... so let me know I can try and have that up soon.

That's an encouraging story. I am doing the amazon thing because my daughter who is now 15 is an artist and a published author. She created a calendar last year and choose amazon for her selling platform. I learned how to get ranked on the first page and it was an amazing experience. Her 3rd book will be coming out and I will use what I have learned to send it to the top of an amazon search as well! In the mean time, I am trying to learn all of this. I spend every spare minute on wa as well. I work more than full time but I am totally committed to doing this. I have not done the google analytics thing yet. I would like to watch every single training that you have done and I will. I was just trying to bookmark you on WA so I can find you!

Here is the first one, how to add your website to Google Analytics and get it verified: I will publish the other training about Google Search Console in the morning :) Let me know if you are stuck with anything else.

Lynne, thank you for the training, I have used the Custom Native Ads, which are great. You have taught me about putting banners in my side bar, which I am now going to do.

Hello Lynn! Thank you for the video. It's great! I added a banner to my site but I'm having trouble adding a product link. I copy and paste the product link and I put it in my custom html and save it, but it just shows up as the code and not the product widget. Can you please help me with this? Thank you.

I would add your banner code to your sidedar but as for the products you add those to your posts as shown in this video. Maybe give that a go?
