So ...

Upon activation, go to your Wordpress admin area and select WP Image Zoom.

You'll be taken to the General Settings tab where you can manage the zoom settings for your images:

You can enable features like zoom on WooCommerce product images, thumbnails, mobile devices, attachment pages, category pages, and much more.

Also, you can choose to remove the lightbox, so your users can smoothly zoom images, and

if you don't want to remove the lightbox for your images, just scroll down a bit to enable the zoom feature inside a lightbox:

Don't forget to check out the supported lightboxes to make sure that the zoom works fine inside a lightbox!

Finally, click the "Save Changes" button.

Next, select the Zoom Settings tab.

There are 4 easy steps that will allow you to add a magnifying zoom effect for your images.

First, you need to select the shape of the lens to zoom images. You can choose from circle, square, and zoom window lens shape.

In the 2nd step you can preview an image with the selected lens to see how it works:

Obviously, you can come back and live preview this image after making any changes in the following steps.

In the 3rd step you can select the cursor type, you can define animation easing effects, you can enable the zoom on mouse hover or mouse click, and you can define a zoom level:

Note: some features are only available for the pro version of the plugin.

Finally, the last step, click the "Save changes" button.

OK. Now let's move forward to the last lesson where I will show you how to enable the zoom effect for images on your posts or pages.

Thanks for this training Zed.
I had installed the plugin previously but it seemed not working. Now I know I had missed the step where you need to click the glass icon for it to take effect.
Great one.

Joe:)

I am so glad you like to dance!

Have starred your post, as it is something I'd like to try when I get out from under this bundle of work I'm doing. What a neat idea -- if Amazon can do it, so can we! Thanks, Zed.

Is that why you keep saying "let's dance?" You want someone to give you lessons? lol...well, if I were in Romania, I'd volunteer.
