Step 2: Attract Followers and Visitors to Subscribe to Your Mailing List

As you consistently grow your following online, you’ll surely want to entice blog readers to sign up to your email list. Some excellent ways to achieve this include setting up a resolute landing page, or creating an email opt-in subscription form that leads to a 100% free downloadable tripwire offer or lead magnet.

When you create video, tutorial or podcast content, you’ll want to craft this to tactically suit your planned lead magnet. So, this is exactly why you need to find your blogging passion right from the onset.

Once you’re well-known and deeply-respected for one specific thing in your specialty, you can then start growing an engaged email audience.

If you’re not sure of the working ideas needed for setting up lead magnets or tripwire offers, you can simply get ideas from your email/blog audience. You’ll find that they can happily get involved in helping you create truly amazing ideas for lead magnets as well as boost your morale in creating helpful resources for them always.

What is the best email marketing app? Does most people use MailChimp that is recommended? or do others use something else. I am looking into starting an email list.
Thoughts?

Hi, I use Aweber and have found that Aweber is a good solution to start out with, because of their free plan.

I have tried Getresponse and Convertkit, which are good tools too. But they will charge you each month, they don´t have a free plan.

Among the three, I find Aweber the easiest to use as a newbie.

This is a spam free zone Israel. We do not allow any links on the WA blog.

Please remove the links

Hey Derek, thanks for visiting! Going by the rules here at WA for creating training, blog posts or comments as stated in the resource below, it's allowed that a link may be posted so far it is not intended to sell anything but just out of the act to help someone. If you check the links to MailChimp and ConvertKit that I posted, you'll find that they contain no affiliate links at all but are meant for readers who may want to set up their email campaigns using MailChimp or ConvertKit as suggested in the training. And if you check the rest of the other links used across the training, you'll find that they are all incoming internal links that point my readers to certain helpful and related resources within WA, not links that link to external sites at all. An example of such links is found in very many of the training that I've created so far in this community which Carson has approved for me in the past. An example is a resource below: Also, pay particular attention to "Rule 4" of the resource above which categorically states that a link may be used out of the act to help, not to sell. So, check properly all of the links I used in this training if any contains spam, affiliate or referral link and kindly let me know while I also forward this to Carson and Kyle to help look into this as well.

Thanks for your contributions!

Hey Derek, how are you there? I've just brought to you my findings from Kyle on the issue of posting links on the WA blog or elsewhere within the community.

As I mentioned in my first response to your comment, links can be posted according to "Rule 4" of the "Spam is a No-No" resource, not with the intention of selling anything to anyone at all, but with the act to help someone.

I asked Kyle himself shortly after I received your comment on this tutorial and the response from Kyle is found in the image posted below stating that links can be used within WA so far it's complementary to the particular training.

The second aspect has to do with the use of links pointing readers to external sites or tools, not with intention to sell, but with the act to help, though Kyle added one thing saying such a link may not be used once it's asking people to pay but can be posted here at WA once it's a free tool or site. With respect to this explanation, I unlinked ConvertKit because it doesn't offer free plans for users.

But, there is nothing like posting spam links at all in any of my training resources as you referred to in your last comment. Thanks so greatly for your contributions, friend!

My mistake or should I say misunderstanding.

Not at all, my friend! You tried to straighten me lest I went against any posting rule unconsciously. This is something that I really appreciated because I saw the mind with which you did it. So, Derrek, I remain grateful. Please, rock on in the online world. Look forward to seeing your future accomplishments!
