Target a Specific Audience

When you’re writing your website content, the first thing to remember is the type of audience it’s targeting. Users usually visit your site for various reasons, and each one will have different preferences.

The goal is to create a website that meets the needs of each user. And it’s a matter of knowing how to organize the content on your site and the type of format you want it to be.

When writing, you must know which users your website is designed for. Your site should be responsive to the needs of all users, and you should ensure that all the tags are accessible to the target users.

To do this, you can choose which HTML tags to use. Once you’ve done putting this in place, you can choose the style that best fits your site. You can make your content mobile-friendly by adding a few simple tags.

I never use H1 anyplace but the blog title, where Wordpress uses it automatically. If my post is long enough, I like to use H2 and H3, but for shorter posts I just use H2 or maybe even no headers.

I like to use one of the plugins that shows the content of post according to the headers, partly for the convenience of the reader but also for me to check that I have the H levels correct.

That sounds like a great plan Rosana.

Thanks for a very informative training on Google content for SEO. However, I do have a few questions. When it comes to the articles I get the title will be an H1 however the very first heading after that should be H1 or H2 right? Well what about the rest of the subheadings should they all be H2, or should they be H3 after that? And then my final question is the HTML tags what are they because I got lost with that?

Yes I new that. However it’s the five subheading I’m asking about. Thanks though.

Hi Kersti,
What I do is all headings after the title are H3. It's about keeping a consistent plan throughout your post. H2 can seem too large for your website.
