1. Expand your keyword terms using Google’s suggestions

• Go to your excel and select one of your keyword combinations. Type the combination into Google; do this for each of the keywords. Don’t click the Search button yet; wait until Google automatically completes the terms for you
• Wait till some other words are added to the one you typed in on Google. The suggested words are the long keyword combinations that people have once typed into Google
• Write down each of the suggested words Google gave you and put them down on your brainstorming list.

2. Go to Jaaxy and use its free keyword research tool

Go to Jaaxy.com and type in all the keyword combinations on your brainstorm list. Find the keyword combination that has the highest page ranking on the search engines. Write down the long tail and head keywords that you were able to find.

• Go to your excel and create another spreadsheet document. Input all the keywords that passed your efficiency and ranking test.

3. Dig into your website analytics

All professional website owners should be able to keep track of the keywords and search results that brought traffic to their sites.

• If you don’t have an inbuilt analytics tool on your website, you can use the Google Analytics tracking tool. When you install a tracking link to your website, you will be able to get information about the source of your website traffic,

4. Add the most popular search terms used by Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other sites to find your website.

You should select the keywords with the highest conversion rate.

• When you conduct this research, you will be able to tell the most used search engine by your customers. You should also take note of the site where the Ads gave you a lot of traffic.
