Other cool time-saving tools
At this point I could wax lyrical about a whole number of social media tools out there. No doubt you know of plenty more that you use that haven't yet been covered - if so, please do let us know using the comments section below. But here are a few more that I feel are certainly worth a mention.
IFTTT
IFTTT - an acronym for "If This, Then That" - is a cool tool that connects with your social media accounts and creates what are known there as 'recipes'. These are little rules, such as "If I post to my blog, then send a tweet out on my Twitter account that links to the the blog post". Such simple 'cross-posts' are possible straight from your blog, or whatever social platform you choose.
But the real beauty of IFTTT is that you can manage all of these cross-post rules and recipes in one just place. Furthermore, you can really get quite creative and specific with your recipes, such as "never share my XYZ post".
Sounds complicated? Don't worry. IFTTT will guide you through the creation of your custom recipes, and they can be activated or deactivated at any time.
