Great follow up Dom. I like how you used one forum to find others that you could repeat the process with. Should we start a pool on long it will take WA members to take over the "coleman fuel substitute" keyword. :)

You mentioned reddit. Have you tried using this technique with any of their subreddits?

I haven't. I'm not sure if it would work unless you used a filter to only show that particular subreddit. In other words, semrush would probably show EVERYTHING that reddit ranks for. But you could probably use something like "include -> url -> name of subreddit" to only show things in that SR.

The reason I mentioned reddit was because it's another site I consider weak and seeing it on a SERP is a green light for me.

Right I get the reddit is weak thing. I was just seeing if there was a way to put that to use. Thanks for the info.

Worth testing it for sure.

I agree, but have to exhaust your strategy first. Like Kyle says, "Start with the low hanging fruit."

I have a question, you mentioned that Ahrefs does the same thing but you only showed semrush. Do you just prefer that tool and does Ahrefs give the same amount of info?

I prefer semrush but I basically forgot to show ahrefs in the video. They work the same for this strategy
