Now for the easy one. All you need to do here is, drag and drop a "Text" widget into your Main Sidebar. When you click on the widget, it will expand to allow for the HTML code. I chose a 120 x 600 banner for the side bar.

Enter your code, click save and your done!

If any of you decide to try this and notice an increase in clicks, I'd love to hear about it. That way I'll know it's not just a fluke :)

Great to hear you are seeing good CTR with banners.

However, I'd like to point out that I did NOT see any banners on your site (I am using AdBlock Plus). I had to disable the Adblock to see the ads.

I would suggest grabbing the images from WA. Uploading to your site and then using them as banners. This way Adblock and similar programs won't block it - so more people will see them.

You could go that route as well. Many people were having a hard time making their banners clickable so I thought I'd cover that here. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm a real newbie here. Did you place the banners on places like facebook? Also what size did they recommend or does that vary according to where you are placing them?

I don't do anything with Facebook. Did you read all 4 pages? I was pretty specific about banner sizes.
