Literally, when you’re publishing articles online, there is a probability that such articles can be copied and republished by other people on their own blogs.
Those who get involved in plagiarism do that ignorantly, but most importantly, you may be the one to face the legal consequences. This is nothing to worry about at all so far you know what to do to prove your copyright when such an occurrence is experienced in the future of your business. And that is what this training will hopefully do for you.
- You may likely lose tons of search ranking and organic traffic or rather have your original material removed totally from the web search if you don't know the right step to take in such an implicating occurrence.
Google is trying to be smarter in figuring out those pages to which original content is being copied and republished, but this doesn’t happen all the time.
The most worrisome thing about it is that, most times, when some content is copied from your blog to other blogs, such copied stuff gets higher ranking on the pages to which they are copied and republished than your own original page, and you’re probably going to be the one to receive Google’s penalty.
You may realize at the end of the day that the main reason you’re getting penalized is due to content plagiarism. But do not worry if you’ve been getting to know that some of the original stuff on your blog are being copied and republished elsewhere.
This training will sensitize you on what to always do to report such occurrences to Google and get rid of the copying bloggers.
Your original search ranking will be fully restored once the copied stuff is reported and Google has completely removed them from its search index.
In case your content is copied to a BlogSpot blog and your report is validated by Google, such a blog can be deleted completely rather than the duplicate pages alone, though this may take up to a week + a few days to get this request fully processed for you.
I realy want the image they stole removed from there site though as I don't want to be linked in any way and not in any way to this site as there 'adult images' they use are hihgly improperty.
Can I use the form to report this in this case or should I do something else as only the feature image got stolen?(I made the image on my own phone)
Thanks for your advice.
Jude
I agree with you that we need to preserve our effort but still, when you have the same niche as many others, it is inevitable to write about the same topic or part of it sooner or later. Therefore, it is not the best choice to report anyone, you think they have stolen your content. if they copied the whole thing then it is a different story.
It is just my opinion, but if someone stole the whole thing you can report them, but finding the same sentences or topics is normal for websites with the same niche. So I am not really happy to spread such training without more details about what to report and what not to report, to avoid confusion and harming innocent bloggers. Some people might use this training to remove the competition from their way.
Accept my opinion.
