Within your Wordpress dashboard, make sure to select the text format when you are about to paste the youtube embed code. Go ahead and select text editor as seen below;

When the text editor opens up, go ahead and paste the embed code that you copied from youtube.

When you go back to the visual text editor, you will see a greyed out box which is indicating that your video has been embedded.

To see how the video actually looks on your website, save it as a draft then click on the preview button.

You will now be able to see your newly embedded video!

NOTE: The arrow pointing to the youtube icon is indicating to the viewer that they can simply click on it which will redirect them over to youtube.

It would have been nice if this setting could be disabled too, but due to youtube laws it will be there until maybe they consider doing away with it.
