*** how delightful and so-o colourful, too! ... haven't really met one up close & personal as yet! ...

... having done master gardening for some years, i became interested in the living habitat of lil' songbirds and became so thrilled to see them enjoy the wee water bathdish that i put out for them and of how they enjoy the bird seeds ... for the longest time, i've been trying to figure out the best way to capture them on camera -- i even took digital camera lessons (well better for shooting flowers) ... and was thinking of video equipment with a remote? ... so that i could film them from a distance? ...

... anyways, just love, love nature and wee lil' birds -- they are so brave! ... just love 'em all! ...

... bless you for your photo work -- it's a great way to share with the world of how precious earth's lil' creatures are -- truly!

... keep sharing -- thanks so much -- you're much appreciated!

The King parrots are in our yard all the time.
We use to feed them and they would come and tap on the glass that there was no food.
I was down the back next to the apple tree and next thing a piece of apple landed beside me.
I stood up and a few feet away was a male, King Parrot munching on a marble size apple.
I asked him to not eat them until they were full size and we would both have more to eat.
Ignored me and just kept eating so I went and grabbed a camera to have evidence who stole all my apples.
I have 28 fruit trees in our yard and never got one piece of fruit at all.

ah-haa! ... caught in the act and he's obviously totally oblivious to what he's done! ... lol ....

well, whaddya gonna do? ... he needs to eat, too! ... how tall is he when he stands upright? ... he looks like quite a big bird and to have him in your yard the whole time?! ...

and gawd -- 28 fruit trees and not a single apple left for you?! ...

well, Mother Nature thanks you!

... i guess they figure the food is there for them! ... you'll need to catch the fruit faster .... chuckles! ....

must truly be quite a sight to behold to have King Parrots! ...

incredible, awesome! .... thanks kindly for sharing your pictures, Tom ... great action photos! .... ⭐️😊🍏⭐️🍎⭐️ ... and a couple of apples for you from me! ... virtual ... lol ..

Thanks for the apples.
We will not be getting any fruit this year as we have the worst drought in our history.
Very few flowers are coming out and the Eastern Rosellas are picking them off.

... well, uhm -- for our fruit trees and especially apple ones, we need our wee, wee lil' friends called 'mason bees' to help pollinate the apple espaliers --- these amazingly, most diligent of wee bees have only a trajectory of about 50 yards and need 'sweet alyssum' tiny white flowers, as their food and resting spots ... have you heard about them? ... they would be your apple orchards best buddies! .....

No, I have not heard of them.
In Australia, we do have a native bee and it does not have a sting.
The normal bees are finding it hard to find any flowers because of the drought and a lot of trees are dying around the country.

wow! ... didn't realize you were experiencing such a severe drought -- yes, nature does need sufficient water, sunlight & fresh air to thrive! ... plus good, balanced soil for the plant kingdom! ...

sending 'rain' blessings your way ... 🌦 🌧☁️ ... to help nourish those magnificent trees > 🌳🌲🌴 ... !

we need our 'bee' friends -- my favs are the 'bombus' bumblebees ... so big and happy to greet us as they float by ...

all the best -- hope the rain showers show up for you soon!

Hi, Is there any other way other than chrome to download it?

I hardly ever use chrome.

Most of my work goes through Firefox. "Microsoft."
