The first thing that i always do is go through my Facebook friends list, and send all of my friends an invite to my page. Once your friends start liking and following your page. Their friends will also begin to see your posts. Your page will then also begin to come up on their recommend page lists. It is possible to get thousands of followers just by doing that. However, it will take a very long time.

So why not speed up the process and promote your fan page? Promoting your fan page is very easy to do, and you will begin getting results fairly quickly. So promote your page, simply log-on to your fan page. Once on your fan page press the "insights" button, then click "promote page". This is where it can get a little bit complex, there is a help button or you to use if needed. You will need to select you target audience. You can target people by region, for example United States and Canada. Or you an can target people based on characteristics like, interests or behaviors. You can also target people by age group. If you really want to get creative you can target people using all three categories. Then you will have to select a budget, and choose how long to run the ad for. When promoting my page, I typically choose the budget option for $2 a day. Then i select the option to run the ad until I stop it. Doing it this way typically generates me between 50 and 100 likes per day. However, it all depends on what you can afford to run your budget at.
