Article sites have a number of categories. They treat writers good if they obey the guidelines. Before you write for any site, read the guidelines. Also, some sites have good information for authors to increase the number of readers and to increase traffic on your site.

Article sites have one main function. That to your great surprise is to make money. They plaster the site with advertising for which they make a good chunk of dough. Also, other sites grab up the articles making the article site more popular and increasing traffic to the sites of writers.

If you are promoting a domain, you can do it in different categories. You don't have to stick to one category. When I was doing most of my writing at EZA, I tried to write in every category. Now I mainly write for SA but I have written in a number of different categories there. I will write on anything so that is why I'm in so many different categories. Over the years I have not cared much about generating traffic to one of my sites. I often write without links. Writers write, right?

But in marketing, you must have site traffic. So if you can spin your articles to fit different categories, you can generate bonus traffic. I know that Kyle and Carson often say that a topic is of interest to more tan one group. Let's say that are writing about Colonial postage stamps. Obviously that topic would be of interesting to more than one stamp collecting niche but it could also be of interest to history buffs or educators.

So think about spreading yourself around. Before you know it, you will be expert in several categories.

Next, let's talk about the information you are putting on your web pages.

I'll have to keep in mind untentionally over-using keywords, since I'm still learning SEO. I do recall the first and last paragraph suggestion from somewhere.

No, Amy, it didn't break. That was the problem. No replacement business. A great product that curtailed sales for replacements. I thank you for reading my stuff. John
