Fix broken ads

How to solve ads which are displayed wrongly in a widget. A part of the ad is cut off.

As you can see in the picture, the left ad is cut off on the right side. And what ever you try to fix this, by finding another banner size, resize the widget area, and resize the ad, nothing seems to work.

How does this affect responsive themes and mobile first rankings?

I have this on my website and the website is testing mobile friendly and the ad displays correctly on mobile. So I assume it's working fine. At least, it looks better than a cut-off advertisement

Great tactic Loes. Is coding the only solution or are there plugins that will do this?

Perhaps the ads inserter plugin, but that's AGAIN a plugin, while you can work around it
