4 - Link Your Profile

You can gain more Pinterest followers by linking your Pinterest profile to Facebook and Twitter. In fact, Pinterest is so associated with these two major social networks that you will find it easy working with them.

This makes it possible for you to link your account to them and invite friends using the Gmail Invite button. Your Pinterest uploads can also be shared on Facebook and Twitter, plus add your Pinterest profile to your Facebook timeline.

If you own a website, blog, or online store, you can add your Pinterest profile to the pages of your site. A good location to place the profile would be the sidebar or footer section of your site.

It's a great way to attract more traffic to your Pinterest profile from your site, and also fetch you more followers.

5 - The Use of Hashtags

Hashtags are very vital elements that you should include when pinning an image on Pinterest. You should also include a description and appropriate hashtags when you're adding a new pin.

Hashtags are great for connecting different pieces of content together, plus they make it easy for others to reach your content. Users will be able to access your content through the Pinterest search feature.

Pinterest offers a maximum of 500 characters for writing descriptions which is more than enough to create something exciting.

6 - Follow Others

Don't forget that Pinterest isn't all about business as you can take advantage of the platform to get "social" with others. Discover Pinners that capture your interest or those who create and publish content that adds real value to you.

You can also search and locate Pinterest users who share the same interests as your brand. By connecting with these people, you'll be able to learn new things from them as well as reach out to a wider audience.

It's a win-win situation because you'll be able to gain more followers if your profile board adds value to those communities.

Oh, do not worry, Bray. I was just trying to find out if you're using a responsive theme for your WordPress website? You know responsive themes can help in improving load time.

So quick question, I have around 13 boards all sub related to my niche but nothing personal if I added a person board to my core brand ( say where I live ) would I still build in my logo into the photo like I do with the others or just rely on my brand name on the account... thanks for sharing as ever very useful...Phil

Hey Phil, thanks again for stopping by! Yeah, it would be good you incorporate your brand logo into the photos to attract more audiences and gain more followers in no time. You can use Canva for logo designing. Thanks for asking!
