For a business to be successful in today's fast paced world, there is the need to incorporate social media marketing for the brand's advertising, sales lead generation, sales conversion and relationship building with customers. A social media marketing strategy would therefore involve social networks that assist businesses with delivering on these business outcomes.

I can count on the tip of my fingers the total number of social media networks that qualify for this consideration. One that would surely make the list is the most populous nation on earth. I'm talking about a platform that has over 2 billion users and still counting. Yes, I'm talking about Facebook.

If you are actively involved in business or work with one, it is quite certain that you operate a Facebook page or group. You may also have been using the many features supported by Facebook to grow your brand's awareness and build your network, with some level of success.

It would surprise you to learn that Facebook offers so many benefits to business owners, and yet most are not aware of these benefits.

Here are 7 benefits you stand to enjoy from advertising with Facebook.

  • Utilize over 2 Billion Potential Reach

My friend, I have a question. I've never had a Facebook and now decided to make one for my advertising. This means I have no audience yet, nor followers or friends. Does this matter when I'm first starting out or can I just build up a following with just advertising right off the bat?

-"When people start liking and commenting on your posts, you can invite them to like your page"

So you're saying that I should also focus on directing my audience towards my Facebook as much as I do my website?

What AbieAJ was trying to say is that you need to start first with growing your blog audience through blog content and comments, then share your posts with the audience using the share buttons. From here, you can direct users to your Facebook page and start building a following.

Man, you are hitting the nail on the head. A few days ago, I started looking into this. I also found that Google is offering something similar to FB as well...but I haven't looked into that much yet. Thanks for another excellent training and information.
