2. Format Your Answers to Make More Impact
Reading poorly formatted answers from people who know what they're talking about is a big turn off.
Before posting that answer on Quora, take out time to edit and format it. Give it the same treatment as you would normally give a blog post or article.
You never know who might get to know you through your answer, so make that first impression count.
Quora allows you to break down a long comment, create bullet or numbered lists, and edit links. You can also emphasize certain texts by making bold, italics, and underlines.
3. Include Pictures to Help Enhance Your Posts
Pictures provide visual aids for users to express their ideas or points. Knowing this, you should use high-quality images to help you drive home your point.
Plus Quora users warmly embrace the use of unique images for posts on the platform. You don't have to restrict yourself by this; you can use public pictures that illustrate your points as well.
Also, Quora uses the first image in your post as a thumbnail for your answer. Once it is clicked, users are directed to the text content of your post.
On my entrepreneur site, I answer lots of Quora questions and then if I like my answer, will post it to Twitter and Facebook. I have gotten some nice responses to these in Social Media.
I believe Quora is a bit overlooked as a resource, but it is a good one.
Same for yahoo comments, may be they take it to be spam.
